Penn State’s BA in Anthropology invites students to explore what it means to be human across time and space. Students investigate social behavior, cultural practices, human evolution, and material remains, drawing from archaeology, biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology. With fieldwork, lab analysis, and ethnographic research opportunities, graduates are prepared for careers in cultural resource management, NGOs, museums, public policy, or graduate study in the social sciences.
