UMD’s MFA in Creative Writing is a nationally recognized program offering concentrations in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Students engage in intensive writing workshops, literature seminars, and professional development courses. They work closely with award-winning faculty and have opportunities to publish in literary journals, attend readings, and teach undergraduate courses.
